New technology brings advancement to the human race, making humans more and more developed & giving them the opportunity to rule this universe. Recently, during a war in Afghanistan, the American army troops were facing difficulty in finding the terrorists, so they employed these new advance technology of thermography, the thermographic cameras. These thermographic cameras work on the principle of infrared thermography.
Infrared thermography is the study of the heat radiated by an object. This heat is captured by the thermographic cameras & hence the object can be viewed with or without the surrounding illuminence. This principle of infrared thermography makes the viewing of the objects easier and enhances the technology with the new thermographic camera sensing. Normal Cameras don't work in absence of light & they cannot detect large distant objects. But the new advanced thermographic cameras can remove both the above deficiencies by working without light & by detecting distant objects due to the infrared radiations.
One can have many applications of this technology, i.e. infrared cameras or thermographic cameras. But most importantly one can have their use in "defense & security". These cameras can be used for detecting the living beings or the non living objects too, with the help of the infrared radiations emitted by these objects. These cameras can be employed outside a house to spoof the surroundings of the house at night & day as well. At night it would be most useful because in the absence of light, one can detect any kind of intrusion into the house with the help of these security cameras. These cameras enhance security to a very high extent.
These cameras enhance security at the local level & at the international boundaries too. These security cameras can be used by the defence services to safeguard there country borders. The defence services can also use these cameras in various secret expeditions and operations. These cameras help the army or the defence people in finding the terrorists as well because these cameras detect the terrorists from a large distance and the troops can find them with ease at night. These security cameras use the infrared thermography as their main concept behind them. They are very useful in today's world where there is a lot of need for this kind of technology. It has various applications as well, such as monitoring the animals at night, monitoring the blast furnaces & other appratus, etc,. All these applications make this technology popular & very useful.
